Today is the feast of Saint Matthew the Apostle. Have you seen or heard of The Chosen? Their version of Matthew is the best I’ve ever seen.
This is the collect prayer for the Mass:
“O God, who with untold mercy were pleased to choose as an Apostle
Saint Matthew, the tax collector, grant that, sustained by his example and intercession,
we may merit to hold firm in following you. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.”
