You don’t get a real sense of how large the rooms actually are because, unfortunately, we weren’t allowed inside the rooms. All the furniture, paintings, rugs, etc. were original and/or antique.
However, one of the guides did allow me in one of the sitting rooms to take the picture of the state bird/flower.:)
I was born in GA. I never visited the governor’s mansion, however. Thanks for posting these.
