OH Deer!

My friend Jen has an automatic camera set up in her backyard in Virginia and here’s what came out one day:

Deer 1

deer 2

deer 3

deer 4

  1. How, uh…pastoral. I have to admit, I wince and hope she doesn’t have many plants the deer like to eat!

No, they purposely leave that particular area for the deer. They tried planting but other non-deer creatures ate them!

  2. Great shots. And what a performance by the deer. It’s almost like they knew they were on stage.

  3. I love to watch deer and when they are spooked they can run like lightening. Great shots.

    Have a terrific WW. πŸ™‚

  4. Did she put out a salt block or some grain they all sure seem interested in that bare spot.

  5. Love the deer, and the lushness of the grass. I haven’t seen our deer in so long, nor the green grass for that matter.

  6. Oh deer! Wonderful shots!

I played too. Mine are here and here.

  7. Wow! Lovely guests.

Thankfully, no. My friends have so many apple trees they don’t mind sharing with the deer. πŸ™‚
