Yes, I know it snowed in Georgia this past January. And yes, I knew it could get chilly. Still, I somehow had this ridiculous notion that the leaves didn’t turn colors down here. I was wrong. 🙂 Here’s a tree to prove it:
As further proof, here’s a picture of a lonely leaf I saw on the concrete outside our apartment:
They do change but if feels like it takes forever doesn’t it? I mean it is November :o)
Yes, it does!
Beautiful leaf. Just beautiful.

I’m glad you like it. Thanks!
Somebody’s going to have to start raking or running the lawn tractor with the mulch attachment! In southern Missouri our leaves have nearly all fallen. Glad you are getting to enjoy fall color where you are.

Well, It won’t be me doing the raking! LOL!
It’s much the same here in NC. Some trees are still getting just beginning to get the message that fall is actually here. But in my area we tend not to have the brilliant displays of fall foliage that the western part of the state has. Too bad…

I’ve noticed that the colors aren’t as vibrant here as they are in Ohio or New Jersey, either. But, considering I didn’t think I’d see the leaves change at all, I won’t complain. 🙂
