Did you see the full moon we had this past Saturday? It was supposed to be the brightest moon in 20 years and it truly was beautiful.
My father-in-law took this picture of it – and the sky was really that black. He didn’t have the time or gumption to play with the manual controls of his camera, so it looks like a white disk!
Then, using the powers of his Mac graphics program, he transformed it to this:

That is incredible. Great photos!!!

Thanks. I need to get my hands on a camera like my father-in-law has. He takes some amazing photos. 🙂
I took a couple of pics of that BIG full moon the other night. I ought to check them out! lol

Thanks. You should check them out. I’d be interested in knowing if your pictures came out “disk looking” like our first picture did.
Wow wwhat a transformation. It stormed hard here, and though we could not see the moon, the sky remained bright through the night and I could feel the closeness of our satellite orb somehow passing by. I believe I have a much greater understanding of orbit and rotation becasue amazingly I could just feel the synchronicity of our planet, sun, and moon all moving in time together…
Interesting that you could feel that.
A great capture, and we saw it so bright too.

Thank you. Wasn’t it? I couldn’t believe how bright it was!
I would have loved to have gotten a pic of the full moon, but I have trees around the eastern sky. GREAT job! Gotta love photo editing programs for the added details.
I tried to take a picture of the moon through some trees that were bare because it looked so beautiful; but alas, the picture didn’t turn out well at all.
Yeah, photo editing programs are great. 🙂
Mine is like your first capture.
It was BRIGHT and BIG that day.

It sure was! 🙂
We looked at the Supermoon too. Boy, that Mac Graphics sure makes a huge difference.
It sure does!
Fantastic captures!
Thanks. I owe to my father-in-law. 🙂
I wish my photos had come out that beautifully!

The ones I took with my camera didn’t come out as well as these one did. 🙂
Beautiful moom! We’ve been marveling over it the last few days. My daughter loves seeing it in the sky when we wake up in the mornings. Happy Wednesday!

What a glorious picture! I missed the bright and shining moon on Saturday, but now I see! Thank you, your Father-in-law, and Mac.
