Weekly Goals

Set Goals

Last week was “one of those weeks” and I barely got anything done, let alone have a chance to write down what they were! I’ll start with sharing my goals from two weeks ago even though I didn’t get much of any of them accomplished:

1. Daily mass and meditation, rosary and weekly bible study at the parish on Thursday. (It was rough getting prayer time in this week.)

2. Memorize Psalm 62:2-3 (“My soul rests in God alone, from whom comes my salvation. God alone is my rock and salvation, my secure height; I shall never fall.”)

Family/Mothering Goals

3. Write love note for Michael and hide it in his work bag.

4. Evening devotions/bible reading as a family (I was out quite a few evenings, so it just wasn’t possible.)

5. Read “The Boy Who ran Away” and “Tornadoes!” to Andrew. Have Andrew read one short story to me.

Personal Development

7. Exercise on treadmill for 20 minutes.

8. Stay on top of my course work. (It was spring break the week before last, so I was able to get ahead a little bit.)

9. Re-work pattern for Kindle cover. (Now I need to get the cover re-done, but I have other projects waiting to be started.)

Blogging goals

10. Write and post book review for Attack on Planet Falrus and continue staying on top of my course work. (Planning to get this scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday.)

11. Write first draft for e-book. (I’ll get this done eventually!)

Here are my goals for this week:

Spiritual Goals

1. Daily mass and meditation, and rosary.

2. Memorize Psalm 62:2-3 (“My soul rests in God alone, from whom comes my salvation. God alone is my rock and salvation, my secure height; I shall never fall.”)

Family/Mothering Goals

3. Write love note for Michael and hide it in his work bag.

4. Do last minute shopping and preparations for Andrew’s birthday party next Saturday.

5. Read “Wake Me in Spring” and take Andrew to library to get more books.

Personal Development

7. Exercise on treadmill for 30 minutes.

8. Stay on top of my course work.

9. Re-knit Kindle Cover and start scarf I’m making for a friend. (I get bored knitting scarves, so it takes me a long time.)

Blogging goals

10. Plan posts and writing schedule for the month of April.

11. Write first draft for e-book. (I’ll get this done eventually!) I was going to take this off, but decided to keep it up one more week. If I have it in front of me, I may actually get it done!
