Comment Policy

One of the visions I have for this blog is that it be interactive. I hope that (at least some of) the posts written here will spark friendly conversations and an exchange of ideas, thoughts and helpful advice. Therefore, comments are absolutely welcome and encouraged.

When you do comment, however, do bear in mind the following:

  • Please keep comments relative to the appropriate post and on topic. This will make it easier for others to follow the flow of conversation in the comments. Also, the combox is not the place for advertising, so please refrain from any kind of advertising or self-promotion. (I have the comment luv plug-in for that. 🙂 )
  • Please be respectful and courteous to others. If you disagree with someone, do so kindly. Any comments that come across as inflammatory, rude or hurtful to others will be deleted. Period.
  • Please do not use foul, “inappropriate” or discriminatory language. This is a rated G blog. 🙂
  • All comments are moderated. Any comment not in conformity with above rules will be deleted. I know that there are a lot of people who don’t agree with moderated comments, but it is the best way to insure that all conversations stay good-natured and on topic. Also, by moderating comments, I can ensure that no spam slips through my Akismet plug-in.

If you have any questions about my comment policy, feel free to contact me via the online form or email me at carol (at) simplecatholicliving (dot) com.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
