Weekly Goals

Set Goals

Last week we joined my husband’s side of the family on vacation to Ocean City, Maryland. My in-laws are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, and this vacation was part one of the celebration! (Part two is their renewal of vows and party next week.) For safety reasons, I didn’t mention that we would be away, and obviously, my only goals were to have fun and enjoy family time – and that I did! Now that I am back, and getting back into a routine, I’m ready to post some goals.

Here are my goals from two weeks ago:

Marriage/Parenting/Home Management Goals

1. Send Michael a “love text” twice this week.

2. Start planning and packing for upcoming vacation.

Personal Goals

3. Get up at 6:00 am.

4. Read a chapter each day of the book study I am doing, and spend ten minutes in quiet time.

5. Exercise at least 15 minutes, 5 times this week.

Educational Goals

6. Write final paper.

Blogging/Writing Goals

7. Write two blog posts.

The month of August should be relatively quiet, so I’m hoping to get a lot of writing goals done. We will see. Here are my plans for this week:

Marriage/Parenting/Home Management Goals

1. Send Michael a “love text” twice this week.

2. Take Andrew to basketball camp every morning.

Personal Goals

3. Get up at 6:00 am.

4. Read a chapter each day of the book study I am doing, and spend ten minutes in quiet time.

5. Exercise at least 15 minutes, 5 times this week.

Educational Goals

6. Attend last class!

Blogging/Writing Goals

7. Finish reading and write reviews for The Paleo Manifesto, Answering Your Kids’ Toughest Questions, and Jonah and the Great Big Fish.

8. Work on the other website I’m creating.

9.  Create a blog schedule and pre-write some posts.

Now it’s your turn. Come join us over at Money Saving Mom with your own goals.
