Weekly Goals

Set Goals

I did pretty good this week, in spite of having a bit of a brain malfunction on Wednesday!

1. Pray the rosary at least twice.

2. Get up by 7:00 am each morning.

3. Keep up with the readings and assignments for my classes.

4. Blog at least twice.

5. Post review for the Catholic Update guide to Mary (affiliate link). (You can read the review here.)

6. Take Andrew to CCD . (So Andrew’s CCD is on Wednesday. I had some running around to do that day and had a doctor’s appointment and somehow I went through the day thinking it was Thursday, and totally forgot about bringing Andrew to CCD! Talk about a brain fart! I didn’t even think about it until 10:30 that night! Hopefully I’ll never do that again….)

Here are my plans for this week:

1. Pray the rosary at least twice.

2. Get up by 7:00 am each morning.

3. Keep up with the readings and assignments for my classes.

4. Blog at least twice.

5. Read “Biff and Beckas Stupendous Vacation” to Andrew and write review.

6. Take Andrew to CCD and All Saints Party.

  1. Carol, you did well. I’ve had the same experience of mixing up what day it is, and so has my husband. The more pressure you’re under the more likely this will happen from time to time. We aren’t wired to be perfect.

Have you thought about praying just one decade of the Rosary every day? Maybe before you get out of bed? I pray mine before sleep, in the dark. Works great. Sometimes I also pray another one before getting up. But I have time to get the whole rosary in whereas a busy mom may not.

That’s a good idea. Sometimes I get it in my head that I have to do a full rosary a once, when if fact, I don’t.
