Weekly Goals

Set Goals

It’s been a while, between moving, traveling and hosting a friend for several days, since I’ve set any goals so I am more than ready to get back on the goal-setting wagon!

Here’s the list from the last time I posted my goals:

1. Read at least one chapter of  the gospel of Luke per day. (Well, I made time to pray most days but didn’t get any scripture reading or the rosary every day.)

2. Pray the rosary each day.

3. Finish reading Francis Man of Prayer and write review. (Read and reviewed the book but I’m not posting it here, because the book was not good at all. I would not recommend it at all.)

4 Finish updating Prayer Resources page. (It’s all updated, so go check it out!)

5. Finish packing, moving and start unpacking! I will be so glad when it is all over. 🙂 I am pretty much unpacked except for a bunch of books.

Here’s what I’m hoping to get done this week, God willing,

1. Read at least one chapter of  the gospel of Luke per day.

2. Pray the rosary each day.

3. Read Secrets to a happy Life and write review.

4 Take Andrew to my mom’s each morning and pick him up each afternoon. (He his going with her to her church for vacation bible school this week).

5. Continue unpacking and  organizing our stuff.

6. Go to the “Wall Campus” for orientation and register for fall classes at Georgian Court University.

7. Attend family reunion for husband’s family.

8. Finish making the printable bookmarks and add them to Etsy shop.

What are your plans for this week? Let us know in the comments or head over to Money Saving Mom and share them with us!

Comments

  1. Can I ask you why you have to pray the rosary each day?

  2. SimpleCatholic says:

Thanks for your great question Debbie. I pray the rosary everyday because I want to pray the rosary rather than because I “have” to pray it. 🙂 Catholics are encouraged to pray the rosary because it gives us the opportunity to meditate on the life, suffering and death of Jesus.

If you are interested, here are a couple of links that go into greater depth about the rosary:

    God bless!

  3. Unpacking! Not quite on my list yet, but will be in the next few weeks. Good luck with that daunting process!
