Weekly Goals

Set Goals

Gosh, this week and weekend went by so fast! I usually plan my week on Sunday evenings, but when I got into bed, I realized I hadn’t written my goals post! So here I am, posting it late – but better late than never. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s how last week went down:

1. Pray, read bible and go to daily mass at least 3 times.

2. Exercise 20 minutes, 3-4 times this week. I only got exercise in twice, but I’m still counting it!

3. Pre-write as many posts for August/September as I can. (Time to give up on this I guess. I’ll aim for September.)

4. Work on getting more guest posts for September through December. (Like I mentioned above, to find out more, go here.) I was hoping to have more bloggers lined up by now, but I guess the interest isn’t there. At least I got a couple of people!

5. Finish putting together, typing and printing out our home schooling curriculum for the fall.

You can read about my new curriculum here. I’m just waiting for a few more books to arrive and I’ll be all finished. Andrew and I are super excited to start school this year!

6. Date night with Michael. (Our 9th wedding anniversary is coming up soon!)

This got postponed until next weekend, which is okay because our anniversary is this Wednesday (22nd). ๐Ÿ™‚

7. Participate in Crystal’s 3 week “Make the Most of Your Mornings” challenge.

Making baby steps here, but at least there’s progress!

8. Revamp my Facebook timeline header.

Needs some tweaking, but it’s done! Go check it out and tell me what you think. Don’t forget to become a fan! If you give me your FB fan page URL I’ll be happy to return the favor.

Here’s what I got going on for this week:

1. Pray, read bible and go to daily mass at least 3 times.

2. Exercise 20 minutes, 3-4 times this week.

3. Continue participating in Crystal’s 3 week “Make the Most of Your Mornings” challenge.

4. Date night with Michael for anniversary.

5. Finish getting my Etsy store up and running. I’m hoping to launch the store by Friday. Keep on the lookout for the fun giveaway and discount I’ll be doing in honor of launch day!

6. Get three blog posts written and scheduled for this week.

  1. Carol, I’m ignorant. What’s etsy and is there a link to your store? I’d love to check it out.

Etsy is an online store dedicated to handmade items and crafts. My store isn’t live yet, but hopefully by mid-week I’ll have it all ready. You can go directly to http://www.etsy.com to check it out until then.

Oh, and just so you know, I’ll be doing a giveawy when my shop opens, so be on the look out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. If I can stir myself to do it, I’ll write at least one short post to help you out. Yes, I can be very lazy!

That would be wonderful! I would love for you to guest post here. To be honest, I was hoping you would, but knowing you’ve been busy and not feeling up to par, I didn’t want to ask you outright. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let me know when you are ready.
