Weekly Goals

Set Goals

I took a break last week for Memorial Day, so here are my goals from two weeks ago:

1. Daily meditation, bible reading and rosary. Get to mass at least 2x this week.

2. Memorize Ephesians 6:12 (“For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, and with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.”) [I didn’t have much time to spend memorizing this…]

Family/Mothering Goals

3. Write love note for Michael and hide it in his work bag.

4. Read 3-4 stores a day from The Children’s Book of Virtues (Andrew LOVES this book!) and two chapters a day from the Bible to Andrew.

5. Work on the Science Exploration kit with Andrew that he got for his birthday. [We worked on this project instead. It was fun!]

Personal Development

6. Exercise on treadmill for 30 minutes, stretch for 10 minutes.

7. Drink 6 glasses of water each day. [I only averaged about 4 glasses a day. I so need to work on this!]

Blogging goals

8. Continue reading Sons of Cain by Val Bianco and In Name Only. [Here is my review of In Name Only. I am about 30 pages into Sons of Cain and it is so good already. I can’t wait to get back into it. 🙂 ]

9. Start writing project for e-course. More on this in the near future! [It turns out the this project is going to be an eBook, not an ecourse. I have the project outlined and most of the first chapter finished!]

10. Add several links to the “Free Resources” section of website. [I took down the free resources section down temporarily because I am doing some other changes to the website.]

Here are my goal for this coming week:

2. Continue memorizing Ephesians 6:12 (“For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, and with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.”)

Family/Mothering Goals

3. Play miniature golf as a family. (Something we’ve been wanting to do for a while.)

4. Read Stanley and the Magic Lamp and Two Magic Treehouse books (Tonight on the Titanic & Buffalo Before Breakfast) as well as two chapters a day from the Bible to Andrew.

5. Work on the Science Exploration kit with Andrew that he got for his birthday.

Personal Development

6. Exercise on treadmill for 30 minutes, stretch for 10 minutes.

7. Drink 6 glasses of water each day.

8. Keep up with the college chemistry course I am taking. It’s going to be a tough class. I’m only a few days in and my head is spinning.
