Equipping Catholic Families Catholic Crafts

Yes, I know I just wrapped up a giveaway. No, I don’t intend to “run” a giveaway every week. Actually, I’m not running this one, Monica is.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚ But, I wanted to bring it to your attention because she is giving 4 winners a choice ofย  one of ten of her Catholic Crafts.

I’ve reviewed her Lingo Bingo and Journey with Jesus: Sacraments, and can attest how fun and educational the products are. Andrew and I both are enjoying using them as part of his religious education.

The giveaway is ending in two days, so if you want to have a chance to win one of the Catholic Crafts, head over to Equipping Catholic Families and enter!

E-Book Review and Giveaway: That Works for Me!

I have been participating in “Works for me Wednesday” for a long while now. You probably have noticed the link at the bottom of many of my posts. Even when I don’t have a tip to share, I head over to Kristen’s blog We are that Family to browse the list of tips gathered there. I *always* leave learning something new or find an idea or I’d find a new recipe to try.

So when I heard that Kristen and freelance writer Jennifer De Root were compiling the many tips linked up at Works for me Wednesday into an e-book, I was thrilled! I couldn’t wait for the book to come out because I knew it would be a great way to have easy access to all those great tips that have been shared over the last five years. (And, I was also excited to discover that a couple of my tips made its way into the e-book. How cool is that?)

My Review

The e-book did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it’s fantastic “That Works for Me!” is a whopping, 180 page, interactive e-book chock full of “tried and true tips from Works for me Wednesday.” It is brilliantly organized into 24 categories ranging from baby, to cleaning to recipes to travel and everything in between. You can see a sample page here.

One of the great things about this e-book is that a part of the proceeds will be going to Mercy House, an organization that helps pregnant girls in Kenya, Africa.

Snowfake Giveaway: And the Winner Is…

Thank you everybody who participated in the giveaway! With the help of my son, I picked the winner out of his viking hat: (Pay NO attention to the broken ceiling in the back ground. LOL! We did the video in the basement near where we do school).

I’m sorry Andrew got out of range of the video when he picked the actual name…but his eyes WERE closed when he picked it!

Congratulations to NOREEN JOHNSON! Noreen, I’ll be sending you an email shortly so I can get your address and mail out the snowflakes to you.

For those of you who didn’t win but would like to buy the snowflakes let me know. I don’t know for sure how much Anne charges for the snowflakes, but I know they are very reasonably priced. ๐Ÿ™‚
