Book Review: Come My Beloved: Inspiring Stories of Catholic Courtship

Come my Beloved

Tomorrow is my husband and my 9th wedding anniversary, so it’s fitting that I do a review on courtship today. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s actually a book that Ellen Gable had given me a long time ago, but never got the chance to sit down and read until recently.

This lovely book, edited by Ellen Gable Hrkach, Kathy Cassanto and James Hrkach, is exactly as the title implies. It is a truly inspiring and heartwarming book. I could barely put it down and I know you won’t be able to put it down either.

One of the things I loved about the book was how it went back and forth from the woman’s perspective to the man’s perspective. I laughed, cried and cheered my way through this book. And of course, It got me reminiscing about my own courtship and God’s everlasting fidelity to us.

If you are in the market for some TRUE, authentic and wholesome love stories, Come My Beloved: Inspiring Stories of Catholic Courtship is a must read.

I obviously highly recommend this book and give it my second five (5) star rating.
