Before submitting your post for consideration, please note the following guidelines:

Submission of your guest post does not guarantee publication. Your submission will be reviewed and if it will benefit the readers here at Simple Catholic Living, it very likely will be published.
Your post should be high-quality, unique, Catholic, family-friendly, and in the spirit/style of Simple Catholic Living.
Preference will be given to those who are readers or followers of Simple Catholic Living.
Submissions with a self-promotion or marketing type of feel will not be accepted. Also, any, submissions which appear to be strictly SEO-related will not be accepted.
Posts must be original content that has not been published anywhere else. All submissions will be verified for originality using a tool such as Copyscape.com or Plagium.com.
Post length should be kept to 1000 or less.
Please make the post readable by using bullets, lists, short paragraphs, headings, etc.
Please do not use HTML format. Simply type your up your post and attach relevant images.
Posts need to be edited for correct spelling, grammar, flow, and punctuation. Due to time constraints, submissions that need excessive editing will not be accepted.
Make sure any links in the body of your post (a limit of two links is allowed) are relevant and valid. Any links that are deemed to be irrelevant to the main idea of your post will be removed without notice. In addition, any non-working links will be removed without notice.
Include a short bio of two or three sentences (50 words or less) at the end of your post. Feel free to include one link to your website or social media account in your bio.
Simple Catholic Living does not offer monetary compensation for guest posts at this time.

The purpose of these guidelines is intended to streamline the guest posting process. Thus, any submissions that follow these guidelines are much more likely to be accepted for publication.

If your guest post is accepted, it will take about 3-4 weeks for your guest post to be published. I do my best to notify you within 2 weeks if your guest post is not accepted for publication so that you can submit it somewhere else.

If you choose to submit a query, meaning, if you submit an idea for a guest post as opposed to a fully composed guest post, I will review it and contact you if I am interested in moving on to the next step. If you do not hear from me within 2 weeks after submitting your query, you may assume I do not think it is a good fit for my readers. (Follow-up requests for queries will not be responded to, unless they have been accepted for the next step.)

Usually, I publish two or three guest posts per month, so depending on how many guest posts are in the queue, it may take a few months before your post gets published. In general, I can’t give you an exact date your post will be published but I will do my best to let you know a day or two before your post goes live on the website.
