Hey there! Thank you for stopping by Simple Catholic Living! If you are new to my blog, here’s a little tour of what goes on here at Simple Catholic Living:

As the tagline says, the purpose of Simple Catholic Living is to help and encourage busy Catholic womenin their walk with the Lord.

One of the topics I write a lot about here at Simple Catholic Living is prayer. It is the foundation of our lives as Catholic Christian Women and it is so important that we make time for prayer each day. In that vein, there is a whole page dedicated to prayer resources and each week, for those who sign up for weekly updates, I offer a weekly meditation to refresh your spirit and help you lift your heart to God.

I also write a semi-regular series called “Theological Thursday.” Knowing our faith is important. The more we know God the more we can love Him. The more we understand what the Church teaches about various issues and why as Catholics we practice certain devotions, the better able we can “evangelize” or explain our faith to others. Of course, the more we understand our faith, the stronger our own faith will be, too.┬á Besides the Theological Thursday posts, I have a page dedicated to Church Teaching.

Now, we Catholic women do more than pray and learn Church Doctrine. We are busy! :) We are taking care of our families, working (inside or outside the home) and have a host of responsibilities and things to do. To help you with those tasks I have a page dedicated to home management resources and sometimes share recipes, how-tos, freebies, and other homemaking tips.

Finally, I share some ideas and blog posts related to homeschooling and raising a family, such as How to Have Happy Kids While Traveling, and I have a page dedicated to recommendations of products I love.

As you can see, there’s a lot of good stuff here at Simple Catholic Living. :) If you are looking for something specific, there is a search box on the right side bar.
